Acrylics

Acrylics is a type of organic glass sheet, also known as processed organic glass in the academic community. Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) sheet organic glass, which is polymerized from methyl methacrylate monomer (MMA), is widely used in the production of light boxes. It has the characteristics of good transparency, pure color, rich color, and beautiful flatness. In addition, acrylic sheet is lightweight and has strong plasticity, making it very suitable as a building material. Bathroom cabinets, bathtubs, and toilets made of acrylic sheets are not only exquisitely designed and durable, but also healthy and environmentally friendly.
2. Characteristics
1. It has good weather resistance and acid and alkali resistance, and will not cause yellowing or hydrolysis due to long-term exposure to sunlight and rain.
2. Long lifespan, compared to other material products, the lifespan is longer by more than three years.
3. Good transparency, reaching over 92%, requires less light intensity, and saves energy.
4. Strong impact resistance, sixteen times that of ordinary glass, suitable for installation in areas that require special safety.
5. Excellent insulation performance, suitable for various electrical equipment.
6. It has a light weight, half lighter than ordinary glass, and can withstand less load on buildings and supports.
7. The bright colors and high brightness are unmatched by other materials.
8. Strong plasticity, large shape changes, and easy processing and shaping.
9. High recyclability rate, recognized by the increasing environmental awareness.
10. Easy to maintain, easy to clean, can be naturally cleaned by rainwater, or simply wiped with soap and a soft cloth

3. Precautions
1) Acrylic boards should not be stored in the same place as other organic solvents, nor should they come into contact with organic solvents
2) During transportation, the surface protective film or paper should not be scratched
3) Cannot be used in environments with temperatures exceeding 85 ℃
4) When cleaning acrylic sheets, only use 1% soapy water and dip a soft cotton cloth in soapy water. Do not use hard objects or dry wipes, otherwise the surface is easily scratched
5) Acrylic board has a large coefficient of thermal expansion, and due to temperature changes, it is necessary to consider reserving expansion gaps
