Silica insulating refractory brick

Silica insulating refractory brick refers to insulation and refractory products made mainly from silica with a SiO2 content of not less than 91%. Silicon insulated refractory bricks not only have thermal insulation properties, but also maintain the characteristics of silicon bricks to a large extent. The softening temperature under load is high, and during the heating process, the volume slightly expands, enhancing the overall integrity of the kiln. The manufacturing of silicon thermal insulation refractory bricks uses finely ground silica as raw material, with the addition of some waste silicon bricks or waste silicon thermal insulation refractory brick powder, mineralizers, and burned out additives. Mix water in a mixing machine according to a certain ratio to form mud material, which is then mechanically or manually formed. After the brick is dried, the residual moisture content should be less than 0.5% before it can be loaded into the kiln. To prevent severe volume expansion caused by the polycrystalline transformation of SiO2, which may lead to cracks in the product, a relatively slow heating and cooling rate is required during firing.
